ABOUT SPEEDY

Hey, I'm Speedy.

I wasn’t the person anyone expected to end up on a stage.

I was a less-than-average student, happier on the soccer field, or running around in a Batman costume, and completely hopeless at public speaking.

At sixteen, I came out as gay. In my early twenties, I realised I was non-binary and transgender. Growing up in an ethno-culturally diverse community this was

For years, I let the voices around me convince me there was something 'wrong' with me. What I once feared would break me became the foundation of my success.

Our Mission

Shame to Strength

Today, I work with executive teams, world-class universities, and leading organisations to build cultures of inclusion, allyship, and authenticity.

I inspire compassion and provide the tools and lived experience to help you lift intersectionality, embrace diversity, and get the very best out of everyone at the table.

Inclusion isn’t a nice-to-have - it’s the smartest strategy in the room.

Teams that nail this:

  • Risk drop

  • Engagement spikes

  • Innovation soars

  • Profits climb

Why I Speak

I am frequently asked, “Speedy, why do you share your personal story?”

I speak so no one like me ever feels alone, and so families, workplaces, and communities can better understand, affirm, and champion the people they care about.

This is a story of TRANSformation—from shame to strength.

And a reminder that we are all made to matter.

What to Expect

Whether it’s a keynote, workshop, or strategic consultancy, my approach is simple:

  • High-energy storytelling

  • Practical takeaways you’ll actually remember

  • A lived perspective that makes inclusion relatable, actionable, and even a little entertaining.

If you’re ready to build a culture of courage, compassion, and inclusion—for yourself, your team, or your organisation—you’ve just found your next partner in progress.

(And yes, I still love Batman…though these days I prefer suits to capes.)
